Here's his message.
I have been trying for several months to locate a comedy
selection from an old Richard Pryor album. The "selection title" is "Miss
Rudolph the VooDoo Lady", & is quite possibly the finest Pryor piece in his
lifetime. It is about 15 min. in length, and I recorded it off onw of his
albums around 1981. No one, and I mean no one has been able to help. If any
staff member can help I'd appreciate it. Just my luck that I loaned out my
tape.
So... any ideas?
The actual titile of the piece is called
"Mudbone-Little Feets" it appears on Richard's now classic, "Is It Something I
Said" album released in 1975. The album was released on cd the beginning of
this year. He has recorded other "Mudbone" pieces on a few albums since then,
but this one is my favorite.

Now that's just *weird*.
I was just listening to this *very track* earlier tonight, and then
this shows up on the server.
[Monkey climbs on Mudbone's head, begins playing with his ears]
"Miz Rudolph, could you do something about this monkey?"
"I don't have to do nuthin 'bout the monkey, n----r. He live here, you
just visiting!"
