Back in the late 60s or early 70s I heard a novelty song sung to the
tune of the Association's "Windy". I think I lived in Los Angeles at
the time I heard it. It was hilarious. The main song line was
"Everyone knows it's Aunt Bee" instead of "Everyone knows it's Windy".
And "Aunt Bee has such big thighs" instead of "Windy's got glowing
eyes". If anyone knows the group name, or if it is available on record
or compilation, please let me know. Thanks.

That was John Mammoser. I have "John Mammoser's first CD, 84 BITS !!!!!!!" (
http://houg.com/critiques/JohnMammoser.html ) and 4 other mp3.com CDs (for sale,
cheap, http://houg.com/store/ ) and it's not on any of those CD. But there are
redundant tracks on the same CD, so it is possible that Aunt Bea just slipped his
mind. Ask him.

Looks like this is the playlist history on Dr. Demento:
drd00.0312.html:Aunt Bee - Liberty Photo Shop Crew
drd94.0731.html:Aunt Bee - The Liberty Photo Shop Crew
drd93.0912.html:Aunt Bee - The Liberty Photo Shop Crew
drd92.0308.html:Aunt Bee - The Liberty Photo Shop Crew
drd92.0209.html:Aunt Bee - Liberty Photo Shop Crew
I'm hearing it on my copy of the 03/12/2000 Dr Show and it has that
which you remember as lyrics.

Many thanks to Tim Ryan and Eric Houg for responding to my question!
Aunt Bee by the Liberty Photoshop Crew was the correct song. If I had
been more familiar with the Dr. Demento related websites, I probably
could have found it myself. I went to
ftp://216.243.162.145/demento/2000/march/000312-56kbs/ and downloaded
the 3/12/00 Dr. Demento show. I then used Nero to cut and paste the
song to a separate MP3 file. Thanks Again!
