"Lucky is the shepherd, and lucky his flock,
about whom the wolves complain"
He just died a few months ago.....I'm don't recall exactly when but something
like April or May?? And he died from lung cancer.

I'm not sure of the date, but I know it was about a month and a half ago,
just after he finished recutting some of the songs on a new CD. Eddie had
problems with his voice/throat, and had surgery to have what was beleived
to be polyps removed. I think, at that time, it was discovered that he had
throat cancer. He died not long after that. The details are sketchy in my
memory, but my husband (who isn't home right now) knows them, so you can
feel free to email him at mi...@gonecountry.com. I know that his passing
and the funeral were *very* low key, getting only a brief mention on my
news station, and I've really not heard much throughout the country music
industry. It's a shame, I loved Eddie's music, but with the help of the
new country artists, such as Gary Allan doing "I love a rainy night" on the
BlackDog soundtrack (gosh, that doesn't sound right at all, I hope I'm not
giving incorrect info here--I might have the movie name wrong), his legacy
will live on :)
Hope that helps;

There should be a law against this. The reason you should not bury
people the same day they die is because it takes the soul 2-3 days to
get out. The soul needs to get out so it can fly around and find a
higher lifeform to go into.
When the soul is buried with the body, it can still get out. But it
probably will go into a worm.
Now, when I go fishing and hook a worm, I'm gonna think about Eddie
Rabbit. This is not fair to me or the worm.

What religion is Eddie Rabbits' ? I know that Muslims buried their
deaths the same day they die.
