Richard, I'm new to this internet stuff so please forgive me if I'm
being rude or otherwise ignorant. No, I don't know who that girl is,
but I did read an article about Jr. Brown in Country Weekly Magazine.
It was maybe a month or two ago and I think they mentioned her name.
Are you in Conneticut? Are you going to see Jr. Brown in concert on
Oct. 5? My brother-in-law just joined his fan club and would like to
go see him (he got backstage passes!) but he can't find a ticket to
save his life. My sister is a Huge Alan Jackson fan and wants to go
Really bad. If you know of anyone with extra or unwanted tickets,
please contact me or my sister/brother-in-law via e-mail.
Thanks for your patience,
Kathy

I haven't seen any of Junior's videos (Where are they shown ?), but i
do know his wife plays in his band (often it is just the two of them)
and her name is Sissy.
Keep swinging !

Kathy,
Thanks for replying to my Jr. Brown question on the
alt.music.country.western. I thought you did quite well to be new to
this "Internet stuff." I'm afraid I can't help you on the tickets
because I'm not in Conneticut, I'm in Georgia. I didn't realize that
people in Conneticut listen to country music. Good luck and I hope
you're able to find what you're looking for.
If you should come across that tall, blonde's name, e-mail me. This is
one of those "I recognize that person from somewhere, but can't piece it
together" feelings. She seems like someone I've seen before...not a new
face (as one would expect). Anyway, just curious.
Sincerely,
Richard NeSmith

Junior's wife plays in his band, but her name is Tanya Rae Brown. Check the
CD liner!
Isn't the tall video blonde a basketball player?

His wife is the pretty brunette who plays the guitar in his band. She also
plays his screen wife in "My Wife Thinks You're Dead".

And just for the record, I believe that if his real wife *is* in the band
(as alleged by someone whose input I've snipped) it's the dark-haired woman
who *played* his wife in "My Wife Thinks You're Dead." Am I wrong or does
she play steel guitar?
The first Junior Brown video I saw was "Highway Patrol," and I thought it
amusing. Then came "My Wife," and -- well -- *my* wife and I think it's
destined to be a classic. However, she claims to be *convinced* "Gwendolyn"
is a man in drag...

Indeed the dark haired woman in Jr.'s band is his wife (at least he
introduces her as such in concert.) She plays rhythm acoustic guitar in
concert.

Tanya Rae Brown plays rhythm acoustic guitar and sings backgrounds and
duets with Junior. Junior plays the steel AND the electric guitar on a
double-necked contraption called a "guit-steel."

All three of Junior's albums are great! Great songwriting, great singing,
and, of course, great playing. Junior is Ernest Tubb, Magic Sam, and Nokie
Edwards all wrapped up in one. In short, he slams!

I think I heard somewhere that she's a member of the US Women's
basketball team

I heard that she's not an actress, but a college student & basketball
player who does some-time modeling. Also, they originally wanted her
sister who's even taller but the schedules didn't work so they used the
"Little Sis."
