Son: I was listening to the radio the other day, to Toby Keith, and I
decided to join the army,
Father: Couldn't you change the damn station?
The son joined and is now one of the 4000 + US deaths in Iraq.
Funeral plans are incomplete.

Edward has 3 digits in his IQ, so he's not soldier material. I saw Toby in
concert. Fun time. I figure that whatever makes him endorse Ford is the
same reason he endorses this ruinous, cynical McWar.

Me too, then this war would be over in a N Y minute!

PUH - LEEZE !!!!!!!!! Why don't you STOP wasting everybody's time, and
get some Toby Keith kewpie dolls, or some cd covers and stick pins in
them , idgit ?
If he sang a song about jumping off a bridge, would you ? (We can only
hope!) : )
What were you knocked up at 16, and now you spend the rest of your
life blaming other people ?
Get a life and stop wasting ours.
Thanks.

You must be new around here. Her IQ is the same as her age.

Probably similar. Just very pro American.

Good quote, but a lot of bad music. : )
Get the daisy out of your revolver flower child, when this war is over
there's another one about to begin. Stop hugging trees, saving whales
and sniffing Annette Funicello's underwear and start listening to
Country Music, which is what this Ng is about . I recommend you listen
to Tom T. Halls "Faster Horses".

>Why should he?
He's involved.
>Personally, I would like to the draft reinstated.
Despite good pay, future education benefits and, if they stay in 20,
the oppotunity to get a pension ***and*** social security, there
aren't enough volunteers for the military you want. Guess what? That
means that people of military age are voting against the war by
non-participation.
Of course, we all know this is about freedom. Operation Iraqi
Freedom, Bush's statements the terrorists hate our freedoms. OK, Mr.
pro freedom, do you see what parts of "draft", "conscription", and
"compusary service" conflict with "freedom"?
>Especially for people like you.
Right. Freedom to you means "my way or the highway". Punish those
who disagree. Y'know, you do that, and you don't have freedom, now do
you?
Now, here's a shocker for you. After making $ of the boot in your ass
song, Toby claims he's not in favor of the war in Iraq. Let's see
here... he wrote the song, made money off it, claims he's a Democrat,
but supported Bush in 04, and then this:
In a January 2007 interview with Newsday, Keith was asked whether or
not he supported the Iraq War. He responded with "Never did."

What????????
He's slime.

Never known a country song that believed in Voodoo. I mean, isn't the
country way to pray to Jesus to kill those you don't like?

Translation: you're uncomfortable with what I wrote, don't want to
think about it, but will continue to read what I post for at least a
while.

Thanks for your continued support!

--->I went out and danced the night away to country music last night. The
second song was "Who's your daddy" by Toby. I made a contact to head to a
roping later this month. The big breakthrough was that I learned how to
two-step with my size 14 feet. I think it should be called the 2-0 step.
What a blast!
I accuse country music of being simple relative to other genres. It seemed
plenty complicated when I was trying to stay off of Debbie's and Susan's
feet, stay in time and not run anyone else over. I like dancing right next
to where the music is being produced.
I don't think reinstating the draft would have any effect on this conflict.
If we aren't eating and praying with the Iraqi's, we're going nowhere. I do
think that cavalry is the answer for roadside bombs. A guy with a gun on a
horse is a tough target, and if you miss him, here he comes.

No, that sounds like the Christian way. Don't confuse the two. : ) The
country way is to kill them yourself, fire up the barbie, and then
give thanks . : )

Read my last answer. : ) Do you REALLY think you could write anything
that would make me uncomfortable ? : )

Are you hypnotizing me ? :) LOL !!!!!!!!!

Didn't they do the pins in the doll thing in the Jezebel video? Or am
I thinking of something else?

Glad to see the practicality here. At least some people, despite what
they say, act themselves, showing they actually know if they wait for
Jesus to act it'll never get done.

Sure what it looked like in your earlier posts, with the invitations
to stop posting and leave (particularly the invitation to step in
harm's way).

Can't decide if you think I'm fat or if you are assuming I have large
genitals. Never heard of male envy in that matter, but I suppose it
could happen.

Butch Who?
I was just fifteen and outta control
Lost to James Dean and rock and roll
I knew down deep in my country soul
That I had to get away
Hollywood was a lady in red
Who danced in my dreams
As I tossed in bed
I knew I'd wind up
In jail or dead
If I had to stay
I thought happiness
Was Lubbock, Texas
In my rear view mirror
My momma kept calling me home
But I just did not want to hear her
And the vision was getting clearer
In my dreams
So I laid out one night in June
Stoned on the glow of the Texas moon
Humming an old Buddy Holly tune
Called Peggy Sue
With my favorite jeans
And a cheap guitar
I ran off chasing a distant star
If Buddy Holly could make it that far
I figured I could too
And I thought happiness
Was Lubbock, Texas
In my rear view mirror
My momma kept calling me home
But I just did not want to hear her
And the vision was getting clearer
In my dreams
But the Hollywood moon didn't
Smile the same old smile
That I'd grown up with
The lady in red

Just wanted my last dime
And I cried myself to sleep at night
Too dumb to run, too scared to fight
And too proud to admit it at the time
So I got me some gigs on Saturday nights
Not much more than orchestrated fights
I'd come home drunk and I'd try to write
But the words came out wrong
Hell bent and bound for a wasted youth
Too much gin and not enough vermouth
And no one to teach me
How to seek the truth
Before I put it into song
I still thought happiness
Was Lubbock, Texas
In my rear view mirror
My momma kept calling me home
But I just could not, would not hear her
And the vision was getting clearer
In my dreams
Well, I thank God each and every day
For giving me the music and words to say
I'd-a never made it any other way
He was my only friend
Now I sleep a little better at night
When I look in the mirror
In the morning light
The man I see was both wrong and right
He's going home again
I guess happiness was Lubbock, Texas
In my rear view mirror
But now happiness is Lubbock, Texas
Growing nearer and dearer
And the vision is getting clearer
In my dreams
And I think I finally know
Just what it means
And when I die you can bury me
In Lubbock, Texas, in my jeans
