I don't think Woody Lee is really a "new" artist.....

somewhere in my boxes of CD's I have a CD from a few years ago that Woody put
out........ don't remember the name of it.. but he had a single and video out
from it called "I Like The Sound of That"

I think some other artist recorded a Woody Lee song but, damn, I cannot
remember the song or artist yet...... damn this swiss cheese brain........

Woody was with Atlantic Records about 4 years ago...and ladies, this is the
BEST LOOKING MAN you ever saw! I swear...there were movie companies after him
all over TwangTown!

As I recall, Hooey, the song he co-wrote was "I See It Now"...recorded by Tracy
Lawrence.

Woody's first big hit was "Get Over It"...

I guess I meant "new" artist in the sense that he doesn't have a record deal,
yet....and that not many people know of him....he is gorgeous and he gives
great hugs....but most importantly, he's a very nice guy! Hope he stays that
way when he becomes a superstar. Talent, good looks, and a great
personality...ummmm

Ooops...you missed his Nashville career!
He had a deal with Atlantic in 1995 plus 2 or 3 singles....didn't work out.

You're right...he's a wonderfully nice, guy. Alas...married with two kids,
too.
Damn!

See! We Gill fans have taste. We like Woody Lee too.

Of course a bunch of us Gill fans like other artists... especially PATTY
LOVELESS, but we also love Sara, Lee Ann W., Faith, Emmylou, Alison Krauss &
Shelby Lynne.......

And on the male side... Rodney Crowell, Steve Wariner, Mark Knopfler, Larry
Stewart, Pure Prairie League, Ricky Skaggs, Johnny Cash, Marty Stuart.....

and many other artists associated with or been helped by.. VINCE..

Wasn't Woody known as "Woody Leath" before he got that contract?

Yes I missed it....(I think I was too consumed with Vince at the time)...Woody
seems to be really close to getting a new record deal...it couldn't happen to a
nicer guy!
