Does anyone know if Suzy Wills was killed in the tragic plane crash several
years ago that took most of Reba's band?

Suzy sings a duet with Reba on Reba's "Live" album called "Somebody Up
There Likes Me." It is really a great song. Suzy co-wrote it with Bill
Cooley.

Also, is Suzy any relation to Bob Wills?

Thanks ... Mick

Fortunately, Suzy Wills was *NOT* killed in that tragic plane crash.
Suzy is very much alive and has been a very visible and very important
member of Wynonna's back up trio of singers since Wy went solo in 1992.

Suzy inherited the "Wills" from her husband, Roger Wills, who is the bass
player and band leader for Alan Jackson's band.

While Wynonna is taking a hiatus from the road to be a mom to little
Elijah, Suzy is keeping herself busy by temporarily touring as a back up
singer for. . . for. . .aw, geez! I can't remember who she is with right
now. DANG! I hate it when that happens. Anyway, I'll find out for sure if
you are interested. Just email me.

No Suzy was no longer with Reba when the tragedy occured. She is
now a backup singer for Wynonna. I don't know about her being
kin to Bob Wills, but her husband is in Alan Jackson's band. If
you listen to Alan's "Don't Rock the Juke Box" He mentions
something about "Roger" ...that is Suzy's husband. Also if you
watch Wy's video, the one where she is playing pool, you can see
Suzy...

I have met Suzy several times when she was with Reba. She is a great
gal...

Really? I have never picked up that name in "Don't Rock the Juke
Box", what is the exact line please?

Today I chatted with another friend of Wynonna's and she reminded me that
it is *Kathy Mattea* whom Suzy Wills has been touring with as a backup
singer while Wynonna is on hiatus from the concert circuit, but the
friend was not certain about whether or not Suzy is still currently with
Kathy. However, the plans are still on for Suzy to return with Wynonna as a
member of her group when Wy begins touring in February.
