Linda,
Are you looking for the David Allan Coe penned song "Would you lay with
me in a field of stone"? I don't remember a song by the title you suggest.
You might want to get the Columbia Country Classics series <the volume titled
The Nashville Sound> also you might find it on the Tanya Tucker Super Hits cd.
Good luck-----Robin from Albany>

I think you mean 1981 (15770).

Glad you found it on a Greatest Hits...even though it was never a hit, but
origially on her second Columbia album, Would You Lay With Me In A Field Of
Stone.

For someone who claims they know so much about Tanya Tucker, you sure don't
know her music! WHAT'S YOUR MAMA'S NAME? was Tanya's second album, a true
Tanya Tucker fan knows that "WOULD YOU LAY WITH ME, IN A FIELD OF STONE? was

think vinyl is better than CD's!

I can't find the words either, but if you use a search engine and put in
the words "No Man's Land" you might get them. The Best of Tanya Tucker is
available on both cassettes and CD's! from Catalog Music Co. 1-800-992-4487,
or if you want What's Your Mama's Name? in the original vinyl you can get it
at California Records On-line! Just type in "California Records" on a search
engine. You can get alot of female singers that way. Including LaCosta
Tucker, Tanya's sister! They used to sound alot alike!

the elusive Capitol Nashville lawsuit is standing? I assume Tanya has dropped
the lawsuit. Her impending wedding and the New Mexico fiasco that was solely
Tanya's fault, gives Capitol Nashville all the legal proof they would need
for doubt. If Tanya hadn't been so quick to file a lawsuit, I could have
gotten her a completely new record deal! But she screwed that up completely!
I think Tanya was getting tired of the business and wasn't willing to admit
it. The record company involved had all the money in the world for promoting
her, so that excuse wouldn't have held water for long!

I do wish vinyl would make a comeback. I still can find tons of used

I also got all of Dollys, Kt Oslin, and the Judds vinyl.

There's no call to jump down Patsi's throat for a minor misstatement
of fact. And where do you get off questioning whether someone's a
Tanya fan or not after all the crap that you've posted? Just having

You are a pompous windbag! I just happened to have been THE only reason Ms.
Tanya Tucker is ALIVE today to marry Jerry Laseter. I SOLVED her stalking
problem in 1993! FOUR police department FAILED to solve anything in four
years! I solved her problem, by phone, in TWENTY minutes! Mr. Tucker and
Capitol Nashville Security were following my detailed instructions, if they
hadn't, Tanya and Presley and Beau would have been murdered that year! In
1988 I was offered a job near Miami as a CRIMINAL PROFILER for a LARGE law
enforcement agency! I turned them down, I didn't want to relocate out of
Minnesota. I know more about Tanya Tucker and her family than you will ever
know, you pompous ass! I know more about Tanya through members of HER own
family! Patsi wasn't told alot of things that I know are facts! Craig, if you
only knew what I know, THAT WASN'T put in the book! WHEW! I keep my mouth
shut, But I'm getting damn tired of so called know-it-alls like you, who, in
reality don't know shit! Thinking they know me or can JUDGE me when they
don't even know who I am. Mr. Winston Weir, Tanya's stalker knows who I am!
He was questioned about me when he was captured. They thought I knew him
because my information was VERY detailed! I happen to be that good at reading
people, I have been noted for that for years! Did you know that JACK THE
RIPPER was KNOWN to Scotland Yard and always had been! They didn't have
enough physical proof but they knew who he was. GEORGE CHAPMAN was finally
brought to justice on the gallows in 1903. HE WAS JACK! Do you remember The
Boston Strangler? I told the police the MOTIVE for the murders, they checked
my theory, it was proven CORRECT! The Boston Police Department AND the FBI
had missed this little fact. All the victims, except the black victim,
resembled his mother, the very woman whe had repeatedly raped him as a child!
The Motive! I want you the hell off of me! Tanya Tucker treated her fans like
shit all of last year at SEVERAL VENUES! The Tennessean even confirmed all of
this in PRINT! Craig, if you would have been with me this past summer, you
would NOT be defending her now! I, am understandly, mad at her! SHE can be
very unpleasant when she wants to be. You have been very fortunate, not to
have found that out! McIntyre

I agree Tanya Tucker is underrated, but half of the trouble is Tanya's bad
attitude and the way Tanya treats people. Tanya treated people bad all over
the country last year, and now only appears to have 4 concerts for this year.
If it hadn't been for my efforts there would only be two concerts. Her
Minnesota bookings have increased by quite a bit, I'M the reason. Craig calls
me semi-lucid! The only time I was semilucid, is when I trusted a man named
Sullivan with video game ideas, and he ripped them off! I was the guy who
came up with the entire layout for a little-known video game called STAR FOX,
it was for the Super Nintendo. I earned the term semi-lucid that day! DON'T
TRUST ANYONE! Sullivan is rich because he stole my game ideas and then sold
them to Nintendo and others who bought them. He's a thief and liar and if I

I met Tanya at Fan Fair and she was so sweet, She stayed 1 hour over
her time limit just so she could get through everyone in line. She
signed 3 things for me including her 1972 "Delta Dawn" LP! A few months
later I saw her in Statesville, NC and it was one awesome show. She
laughed and jokes with the fans and had great audience interaction. It
was one of the best concerts I've ever been too. Over an hour of 25
years worth of hits! When I met her at Fan Fair she gave me a big hug
and talked to me for like 5 minutes! I have a great picture of me and
her that I keep right by my bed. Tanya is awesome!

If the incident happened, then IT IS NOT A LIE! I know the police told her
that. It was the reason Capitol Nashville had to scrape up all the loose cash
they could find. It's the only reason Tanya wasn't working on a woman's road
crew for two years. Tanya has been avoiding that state since. Patsi, stop

was just a very poorly planned PR stunt that nobody gave a damn about. If
Tanya would treat her fans, like me, with respect, instead of treating them

marriage Tanya would have to learn to be loyal, something she doesn't

I'd say it is smart move to break an engagement if you don't think its going
to work. Better than fighting and getting divorced in a couple years.

I've spent half my life in the music business and its a rough lifestyle.
Things go on that people outside the business think outrageous, but one of
those things you have to done there and done that to understand. That is
why people in the business don't go telling stories to people who aren't in
the business. Plus press spreads enough BS who needs to add to it. As far a
Tanya is concerned I love her recordings that is enough for me. Her personal
life is her business. If anything really happened between you and Tanya the
planted this burr up your butt I suggest you get over it. Life is too short
to spend your energy dwelling on past problems.

I'd brieak my engagement the day of the wedding if I felt it was wrong. It's
better than getting married and then finding out I'd made a mistake. If all of
a sudden it felt wrong to her, this seems like a pretty SANE thing to do.

Publicity? So what? If the engagement's wrong, it's wrong. You don't know
the circumstances behind it, so don't throw rocks.

Loyal? You're the first one I know to say she treats her fans like shit. What

It's important to remember that for every James McIntyre there are
hundreds of other people who have stories to tell like yours. And
also that James' reaction to this whole situation is abnormal, to
say the least. The fact that he believes he saved Tanya and her
children from certain tragedy with his psychic abilities precludes
him from being a "normal" fan at this point. He probably thinks she

Patsi, I'm just repeating what was reported on a Country Music station
beamed by dish to Grand Rapids, Minnesota. They said the engagement was
BROKEN and no wedding was to take place. The station is located on 40 miles
from Willcox, Tanya's old stomping grounds. Patsi, do you happen to know why
it has been delayed? I would rather see Tanya happy, than heartbroken. I had
second thoughts about Laseter, he seemed to be rather too quick in proposing,
there is a chance he is no different than Cummings, someone Tanya was far to
trusting. Her father knew the truth.

Jimmy

Craig,
Is this edited correctly?

Tanya, Just because you're turning 40 is no reason to panic at being
single! I have heard from alot of our married counterparts, and most of them
wish they could be single again! I saw you last summer at Cass Lake,
Minnesota. And even though you were ill, you still looked sexy! I do care for
Tanya, and I always will. I've been entrusted by the Tucker family with
personal information that I won't share even with Patsi, I was allowed by the
Tucker family, therefore, Patsi hasn't been informed for reasons that only
the Tucker family can approve of. Also, I happen to be a month and a half
older than Tanya, I do find her very interesting and sexy! However, cold,
hard reality prevents me from ever being seriously considered as any kind of
date for Tanya Tucker or anyone else! I have never seen Tanya ever dating
anyone who could be considered "portly". I think Geoff Bodine is the only guy
who ever came close. I have helped Tanya and family when it was really
necessary! I'm relieved to know that Mr. Beau Tucker listened, even though he
didn't quite believe me at the time. "Complicated" best describes my feelings
for Tanya! I wish Tanya hadn't been so quick to leave Capitol Nashville! They
were a fairly understanding record label, more than most. It will be very
hard for her to find a replacement, considering the cold hard fact of
downsizing!

Brat, I'm getting damn tired of your insulting letters, for your
information , Patsi Bale Cox has CONFIRMED that the wedding has been delayed!
I'll bet it "the engagement" is broken off for good. The last time Tanya
delayed a wedding she called it off completely a short time later, and no it
was not Glen Campbell. If Tanya was smart, she was starting to question the
would-be groom's motives for being in such a hurry. I doubt Tanya knows Jerry
Laseter nearly well enough for marriage. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that
the whole thing was a PR stunt, and when no one cared she was facing a no win
situation, like another lady named Tonya (Harding)!

They're not only spoon-fed it, they often get it wrong when reading it.

Well, I agree with Brat. Does that make this post an "insulting letter" as
well? Besides, you just agreed with her, too......the wedding has been
*delayed* according to all credible reports out of Nashville. If Balecox
says it's true, as far as I'm concerned, it's true. The rest of your post
is just speculation and you're getting all pissed off because people doubt
your psychic abilities.

See? You're trying to predict the future of someone you don't know based
merely on their past.

>If Tanya was smart, she was starting to question the

Jerry

Now you're acting as if you know *both* of them personally.

And now you're just being silly.

off the engagement. Tanya's personal secretary, Stephanie Beck called me
personally, THEY WANTED to tell the truth ABOUT MY INVOLVEMENT in the capture
of Winston Weir. They wanted my story in the book, the book wasn't looking to
good because Tanya had decided to leave alot of things out of the book. That
is why Bantum Books backed out of the deal, they wanted the true story of
Tanya Tucker, everything in the open. I can no longer call Tanya's family
personally because the take messages only was part of my security plan,
Winston Weir had called the office alot when he was stalking her, caller I.D.
would work just as well now, and it wouldn't run the risk of Tanya losing
jobs because they can't reach her. I was cooperating with Tanya's father the
whole time. I was able to name Mr. Winston Weir's name before he was caught
and without knowing anything about him. The name matched! If I'm not
"psychic" then how do you explain that. I foresaw Tanya's corpse slumped over
the steering wheel of her car, her throat slit and Tanya almost decapitated.
When Winston Weir was arrested he had a razor sharp butcher knife on him! I
was able to prevent three murders because I was allowed to. I also informed
the police where they could find the body of a murder victim, I was very
accurate on all the points in every detail! They will listen to me now. I was
entrusted with this gift by the dying woman whose family has been blessed or
cursed with this ability for over two centuries. I now posses this ability, I
was to use it for good. Sylvia Brown and those scum on TV are liars and
frauds. They have never solved a damn thing in their lives. Tanya and her
family know the truth, CBS had wanted to turn Nickel Dreams into a film, but
I think that idea appears to be over. I keep a low profile for a reason.
Everyone who knows me knows I have the ability, that is all that matters.

Excuse me, Mr. McIntyre, I wasn't aware I'd written you any "letters". I did,
however, reply to your post. Insulting? It wasn't meant that way when I wrote
the reply. You sure have your back up.

> Patsi Bale Cox has CONFIRMED that the wedding has been delayed!

What Patsi said was: "Tanya hasn't broken off the engagement. They just
postponed the wedding.". I never said they did otherwise. What I DID say was

I'd believe "someone who is close to Tanya over a radio station who is

spoon-fed publicity.". I know Patsi, Also know she wrote the latest book on
Tanya. I know they are good friends. Now...who would YOU believe?

>I'll bet it "the engagement" is broken off for good.

Terri is right when she asked you if you're just predicting the future on the
basis of her past. Who has that right, anyway? I will not accuse her of a
"publicity stunt", nor will I dun her if she decides NOT to marry Jerry.
That is her right...and I wish her only the best...whatever she decides to do.

I think you need to stop placing such importance on Tanya Tucker's personal
life...and concetrate on yours. You certainly aren't making many friends this
way. It's really nobody else's business who she does or doesn't marry. It's a
PERSONAL decsion, and it's up to her. She's a big girl.

As far as "insulting" letters or insulting you, that was not my intention. I
just think the artist's professional life does not entitle others to judge
their personal one.

Why are you so absorbed in whether it's a "stunt" or not? Why should you care?
You're starting to sound like the stalker you said you saved her from...that's
scary! Think about it, McIntyre, and chill out some...

Patsi,

I may be psychic, but even I wouldn't have forseen this. Tanya postponed
her wedding because she's pregnant! According to what I heard 2 and a half
months! I think it's safe to say that Tanya's career is OVER! If Ben Reed is
trying to get custody, this will give it to him. I'm damn glad I didn't
mentioned in her book! Tanya claims Jerry Laseter is the father. Another
out-of-wedlock child! Mr. Tucker is barely out of danger and now this, what
is Tanya trying to do? KILL HER FATHER!

Good point, Patsi. But even if it is true, wouldn't that be a reason to
SPEED IT UP bigtime, not postpone it??

Patsi.. apparently he feels Tanya is his buisness.. after reading his
post.. they need to open up another jail cell for Tanya's stalkers...

Yeah, you heard it months ago but just happened to post it here after
you read it on the cover of the Star this week. Suuuurrrre...

I think it's safe to say that Tanya's career is OVER!

I can't imagine why. It's not like it's her *first* pregnancy.

If Ben Reed is

Don't know much about family law, eh?

I'm damn glad I didn't

I suspect Daddy's *used* to it all by now.

Did you know Mr. Beau Tucker had heart by-pass surgery, and that his
recovery has been slow. If Mr. Tucker has fully recovered, why is Juanita
making his office stops for him? McIntyre
