Anyone know who sings "jose cuervo, you are a friend of mine..." ??
Is that even the official title? I looked at allmusic.com but couldn't
find anything. :(

It was done by Shelly West, and was the #1 single of the year in Billboard
in 1983.

And "Jose Cuervo" was the *first* song my pal Cindy Jordan
wrote. After "JC," she moved to Texas and retired from the
business.

"Jose Cuervo"...what a song! It was my theme song then...but...damn, I had to
grow up sometime! Today I'm doing good to down a Margarita once or twice every
six months! Last time I did, I was at Las Palmas with Rock and Geno having a
"power lunch" and gossiping about the NG! After we had the first round, Stella
wasn't so much of an orge...after the second round, he was hysterical! Moral
of the story: if you want to find something funny in Stella's posts, 2
Margaritas from Mr. Cuervo should do it (...and Floyd...none of of us saw one
damn Tequila worm)!!!!
