I attended one of their benefit concerts, a few years ago.
It was a disaster, but they pulled it off.

LET ME EXPLAIN:

They were shy one member, due to childbirth emergency.

We had just had a M 5.4 earthquake here in Eureka, so the auditorium
at the local HS was closed, pending inspection. They had to use the
gymnasium. The acoustics were really BAD.

Worse, they kept tripping circuit breakers. But they just kept
playing, and turned a couple of stage monitors around to point to the
audience, while power was being restored.

And, they wouldn't take autographs, or meet fans in the foyer.

All in all, though, it was a GOOD concert, and, on a scale of 1 to
10, I'd give it a good strong 7, despite all the hurdles. For
sportsmanship, they get a perfect 10 from me.

They've got guts.

I posted Kim Forester's response to the same question put forth in the
blue chip report about a year ago.

RE: Whatever happened to the Forester Sisters?

I thought I would answer this question for you, since I know for a fact
what they are doing, being one of them! Kathy is the Choral Director for
our middle and high schools, and has created a wonderful program that
has really filled a void in our sometimes too-sports-oriented county.
She is also finishing the dissertation for her doctorate, which she
should receive in December. June completed her Master's degree and
teaches the visually impaired kids in our schools, one of whom is her
daughter, Canaan. Christy and I also finished our degrees; I have a B.S.
in interior design, and Christy's is in Sociology. She and I both work
for an interior design firm in Chattanooga; I am a kitchen and bath
designer, and she does interiors.
We still go out and perform sometimes, and the lovely thing now is that
it is no longer a job! I think we have more fun performing now than we
ever had, simply because we're doing it for the enjoyment of the music.
People are always asking us if we miss it, and we honestly don't. The
thing that we do all miss is not spending that kind of time together
every day - when you've gotten accustomed to spending 24 hours a day,
7days a week with your best friends, seeing them only 2 or 3 times a
week is hard.
As you can see, higher education has been a big focus for us,
but nothing compares to the dedication we have for our families. Our
parents, whom we
adore, are certainly not getting any younger, and every day we get to
spend with them is a gift. My sister's children are bright, happy, vital
young people who are involved in school and church, and we get to be
there for it all. We have great husbands and good marriages. We indulge
our love of music occasionally. We feel like we have it all! No one
knows what the future will bring, but for the Forester Sisters at this
point in time, life is great!! -Kim Forester

Lol, ask Esker or his girlfriend the professor. I think I was suppose
to be a high school science teacher last but I'm not sure.
