Garth Brooks Concerts in UK?

I heard a rumour that Garth Brooks is touring the UK and is playing
at the Birmingham NEC. Does anyone else know anything about this,
or has anyone else heard this rumour?

Any help much appreciated....

I have been told that Garth was on a tv program live from the usa to uk.... He
was looking at a world tour starting in Dublin in April.... I have been unable
to find any other info.

It was in last Sundays paper (Mail on Sunday for sure). The concert is at Wembly
in late April (can't remember the date) and tickets are 17.50 each.

He was on UK TV recently as well, but sadly I missed the show... (*sighs*)

I called the venue to confirm, and it's definate... Garth is playing at
the Birmingham NEC on April 10th. So I'm happy... The REd Strokes was also
at no 22 in the charts in the UK last week... wow......

I just checked with the NEC, and he's also touring there. Since I come
from the NE, I think Brum will be a little easier for me to get to, although
it's only 2.5 hours from Newcastle to London... :)

I don't know this date exactly but I know he's in Ahoy' , The Netherlands at
the 2nd Easters day. So it must be just before (most likely) or just
thereafter...
