I heard a wonderful song yesterday. It was called "All I
want for Christmas is You", and the DJ announced the singer
as Lisa Lane. Since yesterday I have tried Tower Records
and Amazon.com and can't find a trace of Lisa Lane (Laine/Layne).

Does anyone know where I can buy this song?

Thanks for your time,

Kate

I love her singing too, she's excellent. The name of the group is Vince
Vance and the Valiants with Lisa Lane. You can get it at:

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm buying it
today!

Just as a matter of curiosity, I didn't see Lisa Lane's
name on the album . . . of course the gif was pretty small,
but still I think she deserves credit for her lovely voice.
I was thinking it would read "Vince Vance and the
Valients with Lisa Lane". Didn't see her name at all.

Ah, well . . . thanks,

Kate

I agree with you. Thank goodness for sound samples, eh?

Lisa Laine is an old fiddle tune made popular by the Fruit Jar Drinkers
on the Grand Old Opry. The chorus goes like this, Oh little lisa, hey
little lisa, little lisa Jane.
Of course it isn't the same one./

Just heard on the radio that the song was supposed to be a trio and Liss was the only one who showed up.
