Hi. Can anyone tell me what the Fan Fair is like? Is it too late now to
get moderately-priced motel rooms, or to book a flight to Nashville?
Also, do the crowds make it difficult to get around? How long can the
lines be to get an autograph, like Rick Trevino? Thanks for the help.

The best way now would be to go through a Nashville travel agency.
Im pretty sure the cheap hotels are already booked. Its only 3 weeks
away. I booked mine through Johnny Walker Tours. If you want more
names of agencys e-mail me and i can give you alist. Hope this helps.

Hi Larry,

Fan Fair is like heaven for a country music fan. I'm living in Germany and
I've been to Fan Fair in '94. About the motel rooms try to book Motel 6.
It's about 10 to 20 min. away from the Fan Fair area. They have moderate
prices and we were pretty lucky everytime we booked a room at least 3 or 4
weeks in advance.

Getting around in there is not to bad. It's getting pretty crowded, once
there are more than 3 stars signing autographs in one hall.

The lines are a problem!!!

Getting in in the morning is an adventure by itself. People sometimes get
in line after they close the door in the night, so they're right up front
when the doors open in the morning!?!

The lines for the autographs can get pretty long. When they are only
signing once the get even longer. I was in line for John Micheal
Montgomery for 6 1/2 hours, Faith Hill 3 times for 4 hours (Can you see
she's my favorite) and Confederate Railroad for almost 4 1/2 hours to name
only a few.

The Vince Gill line was approximately 16 hours
long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But on the other side I got Shawn Camps in 5 minutes and Aaron Tippins in
15 minutes.
Sometimes it really depends when you catch 'em and what's going on on the
stage.

If you got more questions just post 'em or send me an e-mail.

Have fun and go there is worth it!!

You may also be adding MICHELLE WRIGHT to the ARISTA show....not confirmed
as of yet, but happening.

The Whitstein Brothers may be appearing at the bluegrass show on Monday.
They definitely will be at the Rounder Records booth. They're more than
worth the effort to find!
