I also would assume that the "chick singer" signature would indicate
the author of the negative Reba letter is not a country music fan.

I try, I really do, to find something positive about Reba McEntire's
singing. The only thing I can come up with is that 1) she selects songs
that are extremely well-suited to her "style," and 2) she donates money to
charity. HOWEVER, she cannot leave vowels well enough alone when they're
on a note meant to be held (you know what I'm talking about) and all the
curly-cueing with her voice at the end of a phrase makes my hair stand up.
Does she really think she's singing WELL?!?!!?
I feel better now.

On the contrary -- I am a fan of country music. I don't, however, feel
that having a preference for country music necessarily means the automatic
inclusion of Reba McEntire. Furthermore, I would be pleased to discuss
Reba or any other country music-related topic but kindly request that my
signature not be targeted simply because I represent the "microminority"
of non-Reba fans. Thanks.

I have to agree with you on that note. Reba drives me absolutely insane!
She is a classically trained singers worst nightmare! Her diction sucks.
Her vowels are all diphthongs, and most of them aren't diphthongs at all!
She hurts my ears everytime I hear one of her songs (so, I run right over
and shut off the tv or radio so I don't have to listen to her.). I will
officially say that I hate Reba McEntire with a passion!
