I'm not a big Travis Tritt fan, but I admit he has a terrific voice --
excellent control and just a hint of a rough edge. He's got a tune that
they're playing on the radio a lot here these days, something like "This is
just between, and old memory and me." If anyone has the CD, and the liner
notes contain this information, I'd be interested in knowing who sings
harmony with him on the last verse/chorus after the guitar break. Tritt
does some admirable vocal gymnastics, but the harmony singer keeps up with
him lick for lick. It might be an overdub of Tritt singing with himself,
but if not, I'd like to know who it is. He's probably worth looking into.

According to the liner notes on Travis' album "Ten Feet Tall..."
the background vocals are sung by John Cowan. He and two others
also sing backup on "Wishful Thinking", but he is the only one
with Travis on "Between an Old Memory and Me."

Sorry I don't know anything about him.

But isn't that a great album??!!
