All I know is that the song is one of those great "She left me and now I'm
going to drink" songs and it has some mention of drinking booze from a bottle
shaped like Elvis and pouring the stuff into a mason jar shaped like Fred
Flintstone - I believe the line is "I pulled the head off Elvis and filled
Fred to his pelvis, Elvis is gone and so are you." Or something like that.
If anyone has any idea who recorded this masterpiece I would be very
appreciative. I'm hoping its George Jones but have no idea.
Thank's in advance for any help.

Tim, it's sung by George Jones on his 1989 album, "One Woman Man." The
song was originally titled "Yabba-Dabba Doo," but after a threatened
lawsuit from Hanna-Barbera, the song was changed to "The King is Gone."
Good luck in finding it. My copy is on vinyl. In 1989, most albums
were issued in three formats: cd, cass, and lp. It was also issued as a
12-inch single, for radio play. So if you still have a real record
player, you may be luckier than you think.
