When I grew up, I was addicted to an album by a young man named Johnny
Western. He had a deep, rich voice that I can still hear. The album
was called "Have Gun, Will Travel," and on it was "The Ballad of
Palladin," from the TV series w/Richard Boone called, aptly enough "Have
Gun, Will Travel." The rest of the album is a brilliant tribute to
traditional cowboy tunes and the like a la Sons of the Pioneers. My
question is this: Did he go on to do anything else, and if he did, what?
It would have been tragic to have such obvious talent relegated to a
single album.
Can anyone out there shed some light on this for me? Both my parents and
myself have been wondering what became of him for years.
