Subject: Gourd banjo website

For those who might have an interest in banjos of the Cucurbitaceous sort, I
cordially invite you to visit the website www.dhyatt.com to investigate this
particular species. There you will find information on those who cultivate
this type of banjo, some history on the subject, and even some music.
I would like to take a moment to thank Cliff Drane for his excellent web
design work, Clarke Buehling and Bob Thornburg for developing content, and
Carrie Didlake for all her help with a profile on her late husband Scott
Didlake. I would like to also thank the editors of the Banjo Newsletter Don
Nitchie and Old-Time Herald Alice Gerard for their support. And of course my
wife Nedra who once wrote on a blackboard "gourd banjos are wonderful!".
The site has just sprouted. We have other builders to profile (at least 5!),
articles to print, songs to develop, resources to list, and history to
report.
I hope that you will enjoy the site. I apologize if you receive duplicate
copies of this email.

Do you think anyone will ever put up a site
for Gourd Fiddles? I've read some good articles
about them.
best,
Kerry
