Martha Carson was the reigning queen of gospel in the 1950's with her hit
"Satisfied", she is a member of the grand ole opry and still lives in
Nashville. She toured with Elvis in 1954-55 and Ferlin Husky, and little
Jimmy. She is the first female gospel vocalist to have a million selling
album. If you want to know more about her, look up www.donnachapel.com and
look under "in depth bios" for her name. Barb Mandrell, Elvis, Connie Smith
and hundreds of others cut her music. She was with Capitol,RCA and several
differnet labels.
