Veteran Nashville and former
Polygram Records CEO Harold Shedd,
has launched his new record label -
Tyneville Records - on the internet.
Veteran country stars signed to the
label include Freddy Weller,
whose career on Columbia spawned
more than 30 country hits, and who
co-wrote such pop classics as "Dizzy"
and "Jam Up Jelly Tight.
Weller's first two albums on Tyneville
will include a "Greatest Hits" compilation.
