Knowing that many oldtime songs and tunes have alternate titles and/or
lyrics, I wonder if you kind folks know of alternate titles for:

Devil's Dream
Whiskey before Breakfast
Marching Through Georgia

I know the last one had at least one other title/lyrics for I heard it on a
historical documentary on the women's movement of the late 1800s. I
believe it also was adopted by several political campaigns, but might be
wrong.

Cheers,

Someone asked what "Ducktown" meant? Ducktown is a town 3 miles
north of Copperhill Tennessee. Named after Chief Duck who was one of
the more respected leaders of the Cherokee Nation in the Hiwassee and
Ocoee River valleys at the time that "white" settlers moved into the area.
Ducktown at one time encompassed all the area of Copperhill, Tennessee
and McCaysville, GA and was the site of the largest and most productive
copper mine in the United States from 1850 until after WWII.

Old Time Content - Ducktown also was the location for a regionally yet
very popular string band jam in the 40, 50's & 60's called "First Tuesday."

It's obvious, Fletcher. Dogtown is the stop on the road between
Ducktown and Turtletown :-). No kidding.
