Perhaps I may mention here that the paperback edition of my book "Country
Music Originals" (Oxford University Press) will be published in the US in
early March, but I understand that copies will be available to bookstores,
and no doubt online retailers, during February.

The paperback differs from the 2007 hardback edition in that it corrects
about half a dozen factual errors, removes a couple of typographical
infelicities, and, more importantly, responds to the comments of several
reviewers and readers by adding two comprehensive indexes, one of
people/places/record companies/concepts/etc., the other of song- and
tune-titles.
