Does anyone know of a hammered dulcimer player named Jim Taylor? I have
a tape of an excellent 1989 album he did called "The Falls of Richmond" on
the Pearl Mae Music label, but I've never seen or heard anything else from
him. "Falls" is a beautiful instrumental album ... some of the backing
musicians are Bruce Green, Tom Draughton, Sheila Barnhill, and Pat Sky
....
I'd like to find anything else Taylor has done, but I've had no luck
trying to contact him or the Pearl Mae label .... I think the album came
out of North Carolina but I have no further info ...
Can anyone help? Thanks very much ....

There's a least one more album with the same them and basically the same
personnel called "Little Rose Is Gone." There also another Civil War related
album by Taylor called "Bright Sunny South." According to my liner notes, his

Jim has a CD called The Civil War Collection which combines both the Little
Rose is Gone and Falls of Richnond tapes. His latest CD is Christmas on
theMountain, a very well done collection of Christmas songs and stories.
