FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FREDDY FENDER TO PORTRAY SINGING BARTENDER IN MOVIE
"MI AMIGO"

Nashville, TN / Mobile, AL – Country/Tejano/Pop entertainer Freddy Fender will
be in Mobile, Alabama, on October 18th to film a role for the movie "Mi Amigo".

The movie is being produced by Mr. Milton Brown, a Mobile resident, whose
credits
include penning the hit "Every Which Way But Loose" – The Clint Eastwood Film.

Steve Dorff, a very noted record producer, will be producing the soundtrack to
coincide with the movie. Freddy will appear both on the soundtrack and in the
movie as a Mexican singing bartender. Country music entertainer Janie Fricke
will also appear on the soundtrack.

Although Fender will be an on-screen bartender, he is celebrating his 14th year

of sobriety. Fender, a resident of Corpus Christi, is known for cross-over
million
selling hits "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" and "Before the Next Teardrop
Falls".
He is also the only Hispanic entertainer to win an Academy of Country Music
(ACM) Award, Country Music Association (CMA) Award, and two Grammy Awards.

Is that the Milton Brown as in Milton Brown & his Brownies? Even
then, there wouldn't be much OT content to the posting.

And Freddy was in THE MILAGRO BEANFIELD WAR, too. As I seem to recall.

It's not whether you've been sober -- anyone can do that. But, as
they say in "Born In Hard Luck," have you

"Been drunk and got others drunk."
?

Then maybe you have a future in the cinematic field. If you can only
play a five-string, we'll probably have to fit you out in clothes and
makeup like a febe and put you in a tree.
