A lady my wife works with was wondering whats the name of this song and who
might have sang it. Some of the words she gave me (and some could be out of
place or wrong) are:

"When I was very young my mother often said I was a bashful kid my face was
always red afraid of boys but now you see Ah-haw theres been a change in me."
"At the age of 12 I went to my first dance we played some kissing games and I
got the chance to learn how nice a kiss could be Ah-ha theres been a change in
me."

If anyone has a .wav of a Idea please post.

I don't know who may have recorded this song first, but I it was on an
Eddy Arnold Album from the late '50s or ealy '60s. The title of the song
is "There's Been a Change in Me." The lyrics to the best of my knowledge
are:

Verse 1
When I was very young my mother always said
I was a bashful kid my face was always red,
I was afraid of girls, but now you see, there's been a change in me.

Verse 2
At the age of twelve I went to my first dance,
we played some kissin' games and I got the chance
to see how nice a kiss could be, yeah there's been a change in me.

Verse 3
I started noticin' the little girl next door,
I walked her home from school, I never did before.
I even her carved her name upon a tree, oh boy there's been a change in
me.

Verse 4
I started slickin' back my hair with lots of goo,
I even signed my shoes and looked in mirrors, too,
'til my mother said, "why, son it's true, Eddy there's been a change in
you."

Verse 5
Now I've met a gal, she stole my heart away,
I'm gonna settle down and marry her someday,
and everything's alright, and now you see, there's been a change in me.
