Second, we have just posted a preliminary schedule for our "Pre-Camp"
program. This covers activities that will take place before the start
of the regular camp on Thursday evening June 5, and Friday morning
June 6. Pre-Camp activities include a mixer, faculty-led jams, several
demonstrations, and quite a number of "mentor" sessions (during mentor
sessions, assigned teachers are made available to offer advice about
levels, MBC class choices, technique, set-up, or any other banjo
related issue). This year, students registered for MBC can attend the
pre-camp program without additional charge.
Here are our particulars:
Dates: June 6-8, 2008

Lansing)
Times: Registration opens 12 noon on Friday June 6; Camp ends 3:30 PM
on Sunday June 8. The "pre-camp" program runs from Thurs. eve June 5
