Went to Willcox,Arizona and toured the Rex Allen
museum which has tweaked my curiosity about the
man's life and career. Could not find out any
information in the museum about what happened to
his first wife, the mother of his children. Does
anyone know where that info might be found?

>With his first wife, Rex had an attractive daughter named Rexine
Allen. At one time, she was doing some entertaining in the Northeast.
His second wife, Bonnie, was a singer on the WLS Barn Dance in Chicago.
She sang beautifully and made some radio transcriptions with Rex around
1946. Bonnie is the attractive mother of Rex, Jr. and Curt and Mark and
Bonita. Unfortunately, that marriage ended some years ago. Several
reference books cover Rex's career, among them the Country Music
Foundation's new ENCYCLOPEDIA OF COUNTRY MUSIC. Several of Rex's
western films are running on Encore's Western channel.
