Bill Martin--we heard you on the radio today!! I was walking (actually
picking my way down an icy mountain) when I heard oldtime music on
WNYC--what a thrill--just thought I'd let you know that you are now famous
in New York!!

Well dad gum. For those who might want to hear the thing,
its on Studio 360, an NPR program. Jon Kalish is the
reporter, a klezmer feller from Nee-ew Yorrk Citeee. You'll
have to check your local schedule. That is the Government Issue Orchestra,
my band, that plays out the end of the report.

It's pretty good except for the guy being a bit misinformed (he says
it's an old time jug band scene even though the bands profiled hardly
play jug band music at all).
