News Release:

"Legendary guitarist, Lonnie Mack offers 40 Years of Memphis Sale" at
http://www.lonniemack.com

For Release: June 17, 2003

In June 1963, Lonnie Mack's instrumental recording of "Memphis" hit the
CashBox Top 100 charts, and steadily climbed to Number 5 by July. All
in all, it spent 15 weeks on the charts.

In celebration of 40 years of Memphis, Lonnie is offering his fans big
discounts on each of the three CDs which have versions of "Memphis". None of
these CDs are available in stores -- they are available only online from
Lonnie Mack's official website at http://www.lonniemack.com.

Direct Hits and Close Calls is a double CD with Lonnie's 1960's Fraternity
Records recordings, including the original version of "Memphis" that rocked
out
from every radio station, juke box and record player. This 39-track CD
includes all tracks from the now classic LP "The Wham of That Memphis Man".
This was the first LP that Stevie Ray Vaughn bought, and it established
Lonnie as a bona fide guitar hero, a gifted writer and soulful vocalist. In
addition, there are many more tracks, with Lonnie and his bands, and with
Lonnie as a session artist. Normally $24.50, SALE PRICE $17.95 thru August
31, 2003.

From Cincinnati to California / From California to Cincinnati is a double-CD
which includes all tracks from the 1968 and 1969 Elektra records "Glad I'm
In The Band" and "Whatever's Right". The songs are memorable, Lonnie's
guitar playing and vocals are right on the money, and stellar horn sections
push them over the top. Lonnie included new versions of "Memphis" and the
minor-blues "Why" that is arguably one of his finest songs. Normally $20.00,
SALE PRICE $16.95 thru August 31, 2003.

Live at CoCo's is a double-CD with 26 songs recorded live at a Covington
Kentucky bar and restaurant in 1983. Lonnie's brother, Bill McIntosh joins
the band on guitar, and you've got double the trouble. This is a good
recording, with a tight band. This is the only available live recording of
"Memphis". Normally $20.00, SALE PRICE $16.95 thru August 31, 2003.

To own all three of these double CD's would normally cost you $64.50.
Buy all 3 double CDs for only $45.95. Save nearly 30% off retail. Sale
Ends August 31, 2003.

Orders normally ship within 24 hours of order. Shipping and Handling charges
are calculated online. State Sales Tax added for shipments to Illinois
residents.
