Does anyone know what the value is for the Beatles Very Together lp.
It is a Canadian issue on Polydor with 4 candles (1 blown out)on the
cover. Thanks!

Hi Joe,

This rare Canadian album was released in 1969 around the time of Paul's
supposed death, thus the blown out candle. It can be found for $20Cdn to
$75Cdn, more if in shrink wrap or sealed.

Yours,
Andrew

Was this a boot or a legitimate release? What's on it?

Hi

This album was released on Polydor (legitimate release) and contained the
tracks recorded with Tony Sheridan and others done in Hamburg, 1961 or so.

As far as I know, it was the first 'legal' release of the
Bealtes/Tony Sheridan material in Canada
(other than the MY BONNIE single on MGM)

Hi Benjamin,

The Beatles Very Together was a legitimate release, but not authorized by
the Beatles. Polydor was (and still is?) an official record producer and
put about a dozen Hamburg-days songs like My Bonnie, Ain't She Sweet, Cry
For My (A!) Shadow, Sweet Georgia Brown... a lot of the songs that had not
been on official Capitol releases but had been on MGM, ATCO and Clarion
compilations in the years before. Keep an eye out at www.rarebeatles.com
for an information page on this album (I sent images for Mitch to set up
the page).

Yours,
Andrew

Very Together sells for between $75 and $100 in near mint condition, more
if sealed.

ANDY, do you have any further information on this album?

Yours,
Andrew (also from Toronto)
