Well I guess the subject line says it all...

I'm trying to find out which artist did the song The Roof is Leaking.
Anybody know?

Cheers,
Scott

On 12/27/52 Billboard magazine reviewed Atlantic 982, Joe Turner-----"Still In
Love", rating it at an 80, and on 11 Mar 1997 10:39:06 -0500, in

To the group and to Scott by e-mail.

I pretty sure you're looking for the song with the line "The roof is leaking and
the rain's falling on my head, drip drip, drippity drop." If that's it, then
it's called "Drip Drop" and was done by the Drifters some where around 1957 or
1958 and redone by Dion in 1963.

My copy of Phil Collin's LP "Face Value" has a song called "The Roof is
Leaking". Just another possibility.

If you mean the one that goes:
"The roof is leaking and the rain's fallin' on my head, drippity drop, I need a mop", or something like that , I think that was Dion Demouche <SP>. Don't know how to spell his name, but the one I'm thinking of is the Dion of Dion and the Belmonts
John.

I think the spelling is Dion DiMucci.
