Soviet Hitler-beaters someone still pays attention to these things. No doubt,
in due time some sensitive German millioner or a wealthy American art collector
will buy the mammoth.

The music that is played at Mamayev Kurgan is Shuman's "Traumerie" (Dreams).
It is often noted that the people of Volgograd/Stalingrad must not hold too
much of a grudge against Germany since they chose one of the great German
composers to play at this memorial to the WWII battle.
