The second release in the UMG Korea Solti-by-the-decade series (same idea as Karajan 60 , 70, and 80 boxes) will be in my library/studio next eeek.

Soltissimo 3 has the 1980s non-opera recordings on 57 CDs.

Soltissimo 2 with the 1970s recordings on 53 CD plus 4 DVDs was originally released ovrr 2 years ago, but was reissued in July.

I hope Soltissimo 1 with the 1960s isn't too far away. I like a lot of Solti's 1960s recording more than the later remakes. I wish they would include the pre-1960 stuff but I'm not holding my breath.

Why can't these record companies keep track of their archives? An LP is missing from the 1980s set, as they haven't included Solti's recording of "Final Alice" by David del Tredici, which was issued on vinyl, but not on CD.
