Stereo FLACS-19 tracks

Some of the most astounding Musical Performances I have ever heard.

The Carpenters- Or Part of the Carpenters.

From the 5.1 SACD(via youtube) Featuring 3 of the greatest Musicians
of the 20th Century and the Instrumentalist as far ahead of his
competition in terms of understanding of function, sound, and
execution that ever was or will be.

1)Karen Carpenter's lead vocal track, mostly single tracked, i,e,
without the double tracking that contained the electronic bullshit

2) Joe Osborn's Bass Track

1962 Stacked Knob Fender Jazz Bass
Midrange pickup turned off.
1954 La Bella Heavy Flat Wound Strings
Plectrum
Avoidance of the E string.
Mostly playing in the upper octave.

3) Hal Blaine's Drum Track

with Additional Drummers

Karen Carpenter

Yesterday Once More
Ticket To Ride
This Masquerade
Please Mr. Postman
Sing

Jim Gordon

Only Yesterday

Larrie London

I Believe
Touch Me When We're Dancing

Ron Tutt

Calling Occupants

Enjoy and learn something , if you can.

Inoffensive middle of the road pop music by a couple of highly
competent studio musicians cranking out the desperate nth version of
Please Mr Postman.

It's the musical equivalent of a kiddie's blankie. Why you keep
showing us your little blanket is a mystery.

Have you seen the movie about the Wrecking Crew? Quite good.
