Zefiro: The Baroque Collection - and The Mozart Collection

Recently looking for first class recordings of works by Vivaldi I ordered
the 10 CD box 'The Baroque Collection' with the Ensemble Zefiro. This box
contains a splendid recording of 7 Vivaldi bassoon concertos, plus works by
Bach (3 orchestral Ouvertures), Händel (Royal Fireworks, Watermusic and
more),Telemann, Fasch, Zelenka, and some other composers. A fantastic box. A
strange thing is that Bach's orchestral Ouverture nr.2 is not included, nor
the Brandenburg concertos - but these can be found on a separate (and
available) twofer.

September 4 this year another box will be released: The Mozart Collection, 6
CD. With divertimenti, serenades, opera arrangements and 3 a few concertos.
Some of these recordings are still separately available, but not all. One of
them is the Serenade K361, 'Gran Partita' - this is a real prime
recommendation.

Thank, Gerard. Zefiro issues (including the forthcoming Mozart box) are currently on sale at Presto: https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/artists/3107--zefiro. The two collections that you mention are terrific bargains, and among the others, I'd call attention to their Zelenka, for which they have the perfect sound imo.

The pre-order price at Presto looks good.
(But they don't accept payment by Dutch internet banking.)
Generally I wait until it can be ordered at dodax.nl - no shipping costs.
