Well, here he is grown up to age 17 , about a month ago in Moscow , playing the Rach 3 :

S.Rachmaninoff. Piano Concerto No.3 in D minor, Op.30. Soloist Alexandеr Malofeev (17 y.o.). Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra. Conductor Dimitris Botinis. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. 30/12/2018
Excellent, as was the orchestra, conductor, good quality video. I was not keen on hearing another Rach 3, but glad I did . Think you will want to hear this one, also.
Thought he might have dropped a few in the first mov. big cadenza, but with score in hand a couple times thru concluded not , to the extent my ears would ever hear. First mov. cadenza did not sound too big in his hands, nice interplay in the orchestral part of the cadenza. Fine slow mov., a real test of his maturity to date. Non-flamboyant platform manner. Despite YT sound, seemed good sonority , bright sound but good tone, too,no banging. Yamaha grand. Lots of nice touches throughout the work ; seemed to be having fun ; not sure he broke a sweat.
Video on this one not very good , but watched him having fun playing the Prokofieff Toccata – at age 12.
