Has this worked ever received a commercial recording?

I attended a performance about 20 years ago with Gidon Kremer, Carlo
Maria Giulini and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

I haven't found any reference to a LP/CD release. The Salzburger
Festspiele connection makes it a good alternative for an Orfeo d'Or
release. Who knows if the label is interested...

Il Vitalino Raddoppiato is a very, very great piece of music interweaving the old the new. I remember at one point the Vitali them was worked into a long chromatic scale, yet somehow was recognisable as something diatonic, such was one transcendental effect of this masterpiece.

Peter Sheppard Skaerved has raised the money to release it soon but I cannot find a release date - I shall try to contact him.

I heard the premiere by the Austrian Radio Symphony Orchestra again with a mesmerising performance by Gidon Kremer. I had a bootleg recording of this for years which is now sadly lost.
