In collaboration with Archiv Music Sony has just reissued several
recordings of music by Elliott Carter. At the same time Bridge Records has just
released a new recording of Carter’s Piano Concerto with Charles Rosen
and Juilliard Quartet violinist turned conductor Joel Smirnoff. With
these two releases, we’re up to five recordings of the Piano Concerto
in print.

Because RCA and Sony are now part of a single corporate entity, Sony
has been able to include recordings originally released on both
Columbia and RCA within a single release. The recordings reissued by
Sony/Archiv are available from Archiv Music on a print-on-demand CDR
or as mp3 downloads from Amazon. Links to both releases below.
