I have been absolutely stunned by this Slovenian youth orchestra. I already posted their Christmas concert of Dvorak's Slavonic Dances, and here is The Firebird. They play with such fire, refinement, energy and musicality I can hardly believe it of a local youth orchestra. This is life-affirming music making. At times it brought me to the edge of tears, in fact. Their concerts get standing ovations - it's emotive music making!
