At tonight's Proms. My word, the concert version is 6 1/2 hours !! And
no costumes or lighting effects or props?? Or booze or popcorn or...

Or you can buy food at the Hall. On my last visit to London close to 10
years ago, while Covent Garden was under renovation, Haitink conducted a
complete Ring at the Albert Hall and I got to the second and fourths of the
operas. As I remember, the Siegfried was the same, but though I can't recall
offhand if Tomlinson was Hagen, he was Wotan in the Walkuere two nights
before. I'd have to dig out my program to find the rest of the cast.
