A kind friend just made me a present of the new box of the Complete Telefunken recordings of cellist Ludwig Hoelscher (1907-1996).
I got to wondering, is Ludwig related to the violinist Ulf Hoelscher? I know they are not father and son (Ulf's father is Ferdinand), but could Ulf be a nephew?
Not terribly important; I am just curious.
