Sadly, on a DVD with around three hours of playing time, there is *one*
complete performance of a piece: Chopin's Etude Op. 10#4. All the rest of
the music on this DVD is cut off in the middle, leaving the pianophile
completely dissatisfied and longing for a second or third DVD with Richter
performing gems like the Rachmaninov Etudes from Tokyo, the Saint-Saens 2nd
concerto from Roque d'Antheron or the Tchaikowsky first with Rozhdestvensky.
Could someone please enlighten Mr. Monsaingeon and tell him that some of us
actually have the attention span of an adult and can follow a piece of music
for more than 30 seconds?
