Great news for all the Mitropoulos afficionados!
His early and only operatic masterpiece Soeur Beatrice (Sister
Beatrice) libretto by M.Maeterlinck, in it's premier recording.
Have a look at

I hate to ask, but does the "fully informative booklet" contain English
notes and translation of the libretto?

No really.
This Greek label has a big tradition in excellent editions (Samaras
Rea-Biondinetta/ Karrer Despo-Frossini/Skalkottas 36 dances etc.)
The booklet or better the book, contains all the details on the work's
composition, the studies on it by the maestro Byron Fidetzis, articles
for the musical enviroment of the work and many more.
It's a little bit expencive I must say.
But I believe that in our poor artistic days, I prefer to support
efforts like this instead of giving 5 dollars or so for a Naxos piece
of shit!

Which one (Naxos piece of shit) did you buy recently that drove you to
this opinion?

So, is there an English translation of the libretto or not? I'm afraid I
didn't quite follow you if you answered my question.

Why not support both? I don't regard Naxos releases as "shit" I must say.

The very interesting and elaborated notes compiled by the maestro
Fidetzis are both in greek and english. The libretto is in french and
translated only to greek.
Invest!

Best
