If you click "Show more" under the video, you will see it says "Music in this video" which states the Artist to be Yan Pascal Tortelier, the Orchestra to be the Philharmonia and the record label to be Chandos. This is typical of the YouTube 'Content ID' system, which is grotesquely flawed, and it means that Chandos, due this erroneous copyright claim, will be collecting royalties based on the number of "views" the video receives on YouTube. Sound Dynamics can of course dispute the claim but it entirely hinges on whether or not Naxos releases it. They're not obliged to, if they don't wish to, as YouTube allows copyright claimants to be both the judge and the jury in such cases and don't get involved themselves. I'm surprised more isn't made of the farcical copyright claim situation that infests YouTube videos, of which this is just one example.

Sound Dynamic Associates appears to be our old friend HaydnHouse, who
vanished a little while back and seems to be back with a new moniker.

Glad he is still around, and, I hope, is doing well.

The URL displayed as above starts playing the music from 75 seconds
into the piece, which is dumb.

On my screen, SHOW MORE isn't below the video. It's on the right side
of the video and appears after you click on the incomplete OPEN
DESCRIPTION below the video.

haydnh ... You wrote that "There are copyright claims on the music itself at times but not on the actual recording posted." Actually, if you check "Show more" again, it is precisely a fraudulent claim on the actual Sound Dynamics recording that has been made. In fact, there are now two such claims!

The first is just for the 2nd mvt "Il Giubileo" which Naxos, on behalf of Chandos Records, is claiming comes from the CD of all three Roman Tone Poems conducted by Tortelier. The second claim is for the 3rd mvt " L' Ottorbrata" and in that case the conductor is named as Zubin Mehta, with Sony Music making the copyright claim on behalf of RCA Red Seal! ... The words "Licensed to YouTube" in each case means that these claims are being "monetized" and each company will receive royalties on a recording neither of them have anything to with.

Of course, in such cases the genuine uploader needn't do anything, as the video as there for all to see and hear, but just let YouTube fork out royalty payments on the strength of erroneous claims. The alternative is to "dispute" them but even then there is no guarantee that the dispute will be accepted. Incidentally, I'm not sure anyone can claim copyright on Respighi's music either. Under the 70-year copyright expiry rule for composers' works, his music went into the public domain in 2006, 70 years after his death in 1936.
