Although compiling review monthly makes sense chronologically, when I
tried to search reviews of say, Beethoven, at
http://www.musicweb-international.com/classrev/
("Search review section only")
I got the following:
<<Unable to locate search index for this site
This can occur for a number of reasons:
1. The most common reason is that this website has not yet been
indexed. That is, the webmaster just recently signed up for this
service, but has not completed proper setup. If you are the webmaster
and have just signed up for the FreeFind search engine service, visit
the FreeFind Control Center and press the "Build Index" tab, and then
press the "Index now" link.
2. Another common reason is that the search box was not installed
properly on your website. If you have already received the spider
completion message, check your HTML and make sure you have included the
proper site ID and that the HTML is installed properly on your website.
3. Occasionally a subscribing website fails to renew their
subscription, but leaves the search box on their website. After we send
them a few notices, we shut off the search engine. (If this has
happened to your site, just contact us at Sales at FreeFind.com and we
will be happy to renew your subscription).
If you are having trouble configuring your search engine, check the FAQ
and our extensive library.
To review your search panel HTML visit the FreeFind control center >>
I get the same thing when I search the whole site.
It would be very useful to be able to search reviews for a particular
composer, interpreter, ensemble, etc.

Was this ever in doubt? The best thing about your site is that you
review things that others do not.

Ah, I missed the search button on the last page you cited due to my
(red/green) color blindness. Thanks.
BTW, I got to the first page just by deleting "classrev.htm" from the

Links?
No "Top 20" link that I could see. And when searching individually for
one of these reviews, I got 557 items scattered over several years. A
July 2006 search wasn't any help, either.

Update. I found what I wanted in a fraction of a second, using a
straight Google search.

Every review is logged with Google but it takes a couiple of weeks to
register.
I apologize for the lack of links to the top 20. I was getting confused in
my old age. Those links were only on the weekly subscribers e-mailed list of
reviews and not on the web site.

Thanks for your explanation, Len.
