Thanks ! I have the BIS set of complete Feinberg Piano Sonatas ( different pianists ), which are very worth getting to know.

There also is a recording of Feinberg playing his first suite (on Arbiter) and the Second Piano Concerto.

Both Feinberg playing Arbiter cd's are essential for pinaophiles, IMHO.

His Piano Sonatas same. Per the BIS liner notes,Nos. 1 thru 8 represent his most original, avant garde,period, Nos. 9-12 restrained by Stalinism, but I find the latter equally appealing and interesting, in some cases more so than the earlier.
