Hi, first post from a lurker. I'm looking for a comprehensive
discography of Felix Weingartner's recordings. Does anybody know
where I can find one? I used to use a geocities site but that page
has since closed down. Any help is appreciated.

@m38g2000yqd.googlegroups.com:

I may have a link to one on my home computer. I'm pretty sure there's a
site in Japanese which lists the contents of the Shinseido EMI set (in
something vaguely resembling English), all his commercial recordings except
for the acoustic American Columbias. Then there are some live bits of
"Gtterdmmerung", "Die Meistersinger," and "Die Lustigen Weiber von
Windsor" which were scattered among three volumes of the Koch Wiener
Staatoper series, the "Freischtz" Overture film, and a newsreel including
a snippet of "The Blue Danube."

Here is something, though you may not find it optimal:

Here's a link to the contents of the EMI Shinseido releases, though
not a complete discography:

you will find it in some libraries, it's a nice book with some
interesting articles and photos and a full discography.
If you have problems to find it, take contact with me, I have a scan
of the discogaphy.
Best
Matthias

I agree, it's a very useful book.

Hi everybody,
I don't know if this conversation is still active...
I'am currently working on an article that deals with Weingartner as Mozart conductor. As I couldn't get a hand on the book by Christopher Dymant, I would like to ask if it is possible to have a look at the discography mentioned in Matthias' post. Would be very helpful to clarify discographic details...
Many thanks, Thomas
