Hi John,
Your ebook looks like more of a collection of materials (a great buy
at the price you are asking!) than a technique book. Are you actively
addressing the nuances of CG technique anywhere in the book? Also, how
are you keeping the book from being pirated? Someone could buy it and
just send it to some else. Hopefully, they wouldn't! Anyways, thank
you for your insightful contributions!

It is a collection of materials Doug with links to website discussions. I thought I should leave the technique discussion to the teacher because I believe that is best worked out in a one on one situation. As far as pirating goes, I have no idea how to control that. It would be just as easy to scan a hard copy, as is done all the time, and send that out freely. Even large books like the real book are all over the internet in digital form. I know about digital certificates but it seems they may be too restrictive. I guess the buyers will buy and the copiers will copy as Cactus Wren said. I will put at least some trust in human nature as naive as that may be.

I'm pleased to report that this e-book, including table of contents, works
very well on the iPad (using the free Kindle app).

I bought an extra copy of Philip Hii's book to send to a friend, and
Philip emailed me, saying, "hey, didn't you already buy it a long time
ago?" So it must not be too often that people ever send ebooks to
their friends.

I am certainly going to buy a copy of your materials, John, in the
next couple of months. I especially like the analyses. Will be
taking on Sor Op 29, No 17 soon here.
