I've never understood the attraction to the star wars movies. I guess it's science fiction for people who don't like science fiction.

The thing is that even for science fiction, SW is not the pinnacle, far bellow from it actually...

Never a fan of these movies but note, John Williams did a great job composing that score using leit motifs for the many different themes in smooth amalgamations. It was the first time Doldy surround sound was used making it seem real.

Does it belong on the guitar? Hell no!

On one level, it's a retelling of our old stories and myths and it had
a new age slant that was appealing to audiences. On another, it was a
stunning technical achievement. It was the first time that computers
were used to control the movement of movie cameras. I can't say if
that's still being done much today. Back in the day, SF was pretty
much a B-film genre. SW changed all that and made it possible to tell
a story in a very expensive, overblown, way.

There's a guy in the office that has been playing this recently... I hadn't
