I own a guitar made by vincente sanchis and i am very pleased with it.
I don't see many of these guitars arround tough.
Does any one has experience with this guitar? (good or bad )
If you think of buying one, i can recomend it, but a guitar is a very
personal choice.
Hope to hear from you.
Kind regards

It sounds great tho! Amazing for its size--great for strechy things where
small scale is more comfortable.
Where can i learn more about this guit? The label reads:
made in spain [in english]
antigua casa RICARDO SANCHIS
VICENTE SANCHIS[in olde type]
fabricante de guitarras
[logo]
fabrica:
Padre
ignacio Casan, 11-Tel. 56 02 99
MASANASA
(Valencia-Espana)
I wonder if the address and phone number help in dating this guit.
Thanks.
Your guitar seems pretty.
Please read the followings:
The Vícente Sanchís Badía guitar factory was originally founded in 1915 by
Ricardo Sanchís Nacher (1881-1960), a talented luthier with close ties with
the shops of Manuel Ramírez and Domingo Esteso. The company is run by the
Vícente Sanchis, son of the founder, and employs some 22 workers. Vícente
Sanchis Badía makes a variety of models from low end student models to
classical and flamenco guitars for virtuosos. Despite its size, methods of
construction remain doggedly traditional, and most of the work is done by
hand. Each of his craftsmen specializes in one or two models. Craftsmen
with less experience build the cheaper models, as they gain experience they
are promoted to more expensive models. Their top models are made by master
luthiers. In 2000, Vicente Sanchis retired and the firm was reorganized by
his sons and partners. They continue to make most of the same models of
guitars under the same label.
I would think for those who have Vicente Sanchis signed guitar should
treasure it more nowadays for the luthier has already retired.
